All very shameful and not much better over here.
    Indeed.

I just read the official White House statement from Biden. He basically explains how Hunter has been treated unfairly because he's his son, which is literally the opposite of the truth. He then has the audacity to say "For my entire career I have followed a simple principle: just tell the American people the truth."

    These people have so shame.

Yes. They always expect higher standards of the people they don?t vote for than the ones they do.

Having said that, presidential pardons are proper banana republic nonsense. I?m sure scrapping them will be top of the Republican?s list of priorities.

Absolutely 100% bang on. The galling thing is that the left have an excuse every time, why their politicians do the things they do, while slagging off the right for doing the same thing.

The vitriol across most left wing media about Biden's decision makes their readers think that Hunter Biden was a victimised saint. The word most commonly used is 'lawfare' - hmm........very interesting use of language.

This is without doubt massive hypocrisy from Biden and a disgraceful abuse of power.

Trump has said the same, let's see how long his new found morality lasts.

It will presumably be until Trump pardons himself for all of his myriad crimes in late January. The irony of him accusing anyone else of abuses of power is basically him parodying himself. In recent times, on the back of his cabinet picks, ersatz Nazi rallies etc., I wonder if he's simply trolling the US populace and having a laugh.

Yet wouldn't most people do the same to save their sons or daughters
    I know I would.

Exactly. The desperation to draw false equivalence between this and the many crimes of President Rapist and his cronies is laughable. If I was a politician at the end of my political career and I knew the next guy would pardon everything that moved if it was to his advantage than I would 100% let my son off if I could. I suspect everyone on this thread would do the same thing.

I shouldn?t have the opportunity to obviously but if it was there I would take it.

If my child was a law breaker I for one wouldn't.
The US is going down the tubes.

Well he's left the door wide open for Trump, actually, he's blown the door off it's hinges, Trump will almost certainly, pardon himself for all the crimes, alleged against him and his pals. I think he should already be in jail for attempting to corrupt the governor of Georgia.
