Its very seldom that players of his stature will have a career in professional football.

I remember the days of us hyping up Romello Nangle, Tyrell Waite and Nathan Fox. They didn't last long and it's a fair chance Cisse will end up the same.

I hope Cisse doesn't visit these pages, he's been hung out to dry before he's got wet!
Dave Smith and Willie Carling would have loved Views from the Kop.

Both where in their early 30's when they joined us and both had body strength in a tougher playing era.

Agreed. For a lad making his full debut presumably on the wrong side in a struggling team I thought he did ok. Grew into it and made a lovely, possibly goal saving interception right before being taken off.

Whether he should have gone out on loan by now though is probably a good point though.

It?s new levels of negativity and criticism, a young Notts player making his full league debut getting hammered by the so called experts on here after seeing him play 60 mins.

I’m guessing he’s ahead of where the club thought he would be, development-wise. He definitely needs to get some game time in men’s football to toughen him up, though, and see if he can compensate for his lack of height with his pace.
