The problem with our society today is that if you make a comment about an individual regarding something that they have done that you disagree with, and they happen to be a different ethnicity, or have a different ***ual orientation etc., then you are classed as racist, homophobic or whatever. Too many jump on this band wagon and are therefore often totally incorrect in their assumptions.

I haven't lived in London for nigh on 40 years (do you live there?) but I am a regular visitor. How about you defend his decision to spend ?6.3 million on renaming a few miles of London overground track?

As regards asking us for negatives can you provide those of us in the dark what positives he has brought to London?
This is the point i?ve been making, i don?t know what positives or negatives because I don?t live in London and neither do perhaps most the nation know about the ins and outs of London mayor conduct. Did you hold Boris accountable for the negatives and positives in the same regard as Khan? Nope I didn?t think so.

But the other point is that once a brown person is in a prominent position they are scrutinised to an extremer level than that of a white person. it?s not a level playing field. Check the recent video of James O?brien of LBC.

If we?re going to talk about Khans 6.3m what about the 50m for the garden bridge by boris that never materialised and wasted money? this exactly emphasises my point. How many times did anyone in here kick off about that?

I appreciate you asking and answering some of my comments rather than ignore. At least you?ve tried to answer 923. Unlike others going off hearsay and daily mail.
When anyone just makes a statement with nothing to back it up, this is the problem I have with. Lack of brain cells.

Have to disagree, there?s simply double standards at play here LB.

Did a riot kick off when Lucy Letby killed innocent babies? Where was the outrage? This is just one example, there?s tons.

Well, I think I have met quite a few having visited GB somewhere between 50-100 times maybe (lost track a long time ago). Lived for a short period of 6 months in GB too, a long time ago.

Have met soulman (Lloyd) in person a couple of times too.

I believe I have read quite a few posts on here where people, extremely rightly so in my opinion, are negative about, eg, Johnson and Farage. I, myself, have made such comments (but what do I know as I?m a, yes, foreigner? And we all know what foreigners are like?).

I don?t think that you can compare these two incidents with what I?m making reference to. I am talking about if an individual disagrees with what another individual has done and they are classed as racist or whatever when it is the actions of that individual and not who they are that is disagreed with.

Regarding Sadiq Khan, I don?t really know too much about what he has or hasn?t done for London. All I know is that just being Lord Mayor of London qualifies him to become a Peer of the Realm. Boris isn?t!

But in the whole precept of your original post was the abuse Khan was receiving on here was solely based on the fact he was Pakistani. THAT is what we have a problem with. As regards Boris the garden bridge idea had merit that you could see would be beneficial to Londoners just wildly unaffordable whereas I and (I admit this is a guess) reckon the vast majority of right minded folk cannot see any benefit of spending ?6.3 million on renaming a few miles of rail track.

I can't believe you believe the colour of his skin has protected Boris from abuse. Wouldn't have to look far just on this board to find plenty.

Included in this list of rumoured knighthoods is former West Mids Mayor Andy Streeter. Not received anywhere hear the same amount of publicity as Khan. Is this because he's white or because it's London v Birmingham? If and when Streeter is knighted I bet there will be a plenty of abuse from his ex voters.

On a personal note I'll hold my hand up for not liking Sadiq Khan and maybe more ready to be critical. I'd like to think that because I don't like what he says and does not because I and others are racist
