A lot of wrist slashing online over this result. I only listened to it so it was hard to Guage. Talksport commentators made it sound like Leeds were the new Brazil and I think may have ejaculated when Leeds scored.

This result won't define our season but Friday at home vs Portsmouth could. Early I know to say a must win but I think it actually is.

I'm still team warne but can we please start to see a settled team.

Wouldn't that be great. Or even a settled formation.

Tbf he’s been forced into changes recently because of the absences of Yates (against Swansea) and Adams (yesterday). The long term injury to Nyambe has been massively destabilising and Wilson isn’t the answer - but that’s another story.

Truth is though that we were horribly outplayed yesterday, albeit by a very good Leeds side, and if you think the ‘wrist slashers’ are out now I dread to think what it’ll be like this time next week if we’re twelve games without a win.

Yes disappointing to see, but I guess fans don't bother to consider that even with the money put into the club by Clowes, this season was always going to be tough. A reality check is needed by some (many of home were no doubt calling for Warne to be sacked this time last year!) take a look at what other teams with far greater resources than Derby and some of whom have been settled champ teams for a while and consider where we are.

As I have said, we are maybe half way towards a decent championship team, yes Warne can be validly criticised, on tactics and team selection, but then nobody other than the coaching staff know the fitness or performance in training of the players.

In other news rumours are that we are interested in signing Louie Barry on loan, a striker from Villa, currently on loan at Stockport.

You’re right, but it’s also true that the signing of Adams at the end of last January was transformative in so much as I don’t think we’d have gone up automatically without him. Think we’re going to need the same again, which of course is harder at Championship level, plus a goal scorer and a RB. Big ask!

Indeed Adams is developing into a key player, not having Goudmjln and Ozoh fit enough to start meant our best 3 midfielders were missing. One of Leeds players is worth more than the whole Derby team!

The fact is we are missing key players and don't have the strength in depth to replace them, fans need to be realistic. It has been a blow not to pick up pts against Swansea and The owls, but again key players missing.

Yes ideally another midfielder, a RB and a striker would be brought in in January, of the 3 positions a striker and RB are probably most needed, neither Wilson or Ward are effective replacements for Nyambe who is a huge miss.
