This had the effect of kicking the can down the road and they never got their ‘precious’ meeting.
It has become a nothing organisation again.

Desperately seeking Nelms approval which it will never get.

They went against the wishes of the membership at the meeting I was at despite saying they would carry out the wishes.

But hey, the pitch is green, goals are being scored. 🙄

    What do they do?

They hold a board of directors meeting every month with the minutes of the meeting being published in the Members section of the Dee4life website being published in a grid form.(I cannot remember the correct term).
However nothing appears to get done.
I will give you an example.
I have been trying for years to encourage people to register to join Easyfundraising to raise funds for Dee4life and also use Easysearch as their search engine to also raise funds for Dee4life.
Earlier this year I contacted the Dee4life board of directors to ask them to highlight in their monthly newsletter as a ‘sticky’ raising funds for Dee4life by the their members registering to use Easyfundraising and use Easysearch as their search engine.
I enclosed details how to register to join Easyfundraising in my email to the Dee4life board of directors.
I also stated that I was prepared to explain to them at a Dee4life board of directors meeting held in person or by Microsoft Teams.
I eventually received a reply that some of directors were not sure about registering to join Easyfundraising and the matter had been deferred to a later board of directors meeting.
I replied stating that people had been raising funds for Dee4life using Easyfundraising since 2004 as a result of a ‘tip off’ from Supporters Direct and Dee4life has also been receiving funds as a result of people using Easysearch as their search engine since 2010.
I have been using Easysearch as my search engine since January 2011 as a result reading an article about Easyfundraising and Easysearch in the Dundee v Stirling Albion programme dated 18th December 2010.

I think that you should have worded your post.
What should the Dee4life board of directors do.

    What do they actually do?

Are they still trying to pressure Nelmsy in anyway or has that gone by the by completely?

Hoping more fans will turn up 😄

I've got lots of hopes but if I want hope to become reality I have to do something about it.
In my opinion the latest Dee4life newsletter should have only contained details of the date of the rearranged Dee4life AGM.

You've banged this drum for decades and I think you're still the only one that uses it Islay, have you ever stopped to think why that might be the case? Is it maybe because everybody already has a preferred search engine and nobody is changing just to give Dee4L the square root of absolutely nothing every month.

How much does this bring in? Pretty sure if the income into Dee4L was significant they'd have noticed and would be pressing for people to use it.

I have personally recently been raising over ten pounds per week for Dee4life in online searches using Easysearch instead of Google or Bing.

The Dee4life board of directors are currently driving away members due to their inaction and failure to submit their members concerns to Tim Keyes and John Nelms.
They are only interested in having consultations with their members with nothing being done.
They should have set up a Rainy Day fund especially with the large losses published in the DFC Ltd annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2023.
I do not see any point in trying to build bridges with the DSA committee members as it was the DSA who left Dee4life (DFCSS) in August 2014 to go it alone.
It suits Nelms to operate a ‘divide and rule’ policy instead of having one large group of Dundee FC supporters all pulling in the same direction.,
A couple of years ago there was talk about Dee4life and the DSA both contributing to the restart of the Junior Dark Blues who are the adult Dundee FC supporters of the future but nothing happened.
From memory I remember reading in the minutes of a DSA secretaries meeting that the DSA thought the proposed prices for membership of the Junior Dark Blues was too high.
I have not read anything about a Christmas party for young Dundee FC supporters taking place this year.

It's all happening then. 😄.....I think we are back at the point where people like the title....but little else.

Still the grass is green and we score a lot of goals. 😁

Reasonable points being made Islay. Seem to be facts rather than opinions and maybe Dee4life board might be able to give their answers.
