Derry and Birchnall both now available

Would either of these be a better option given our current poor form? Both released from Wolves.

No point even discussing Derry as there's no way the bros would be interested. I'd say Birchnall is more experienced and better qualified than Maynard. He'd probably be an improvement, but if he wasn't good enough to get us out of the NL, he's not good enough to get us out of L2. Plus he left us for Forest Green, so he can piss off.

Don't think SM will be going anywhere (and I'm not calling for that).

But I wouldn't mind a team of Birch and Derry.

I don't care that he left us for Forest Green. There's not one person who wouldn't want to better themselves.

No, he didn't get us out of the NL but he came mighty close to getting us to a play-off final then who knows .........

As far as IB goes he is far more experienced now than he was when he left us.
Managing a team at a higher level , coaching for a top European team and also coaching in the premiership. We played some great football when he was here, maybe we could again ?
My concern is it would cause a divide in the fan base , but then again who ever we appoint would do that ?!

More experienced at getting sacked more like.
If that good, why so many clubs under his belt in recent times?
Would be out of Notts league the way you are bumming him up😂

If you want to better yourself, you don't leave Notts County for Forest Green. I don't care that they were in L1. It was a rubbish decision on his part. What was he supposed to achieve with FG in L1?

I know he went to Forest Green but he's not a BIRCH tree, though some might think BURCH is pronounced burk.
