Judea and Samaria,(West Bank) are regions of Israel that are deeply connected to the Jewish people historically and religiously. Most of the events of the Bible were written and took place in these areas. Judea and Samaria—The Heartland of Israel.
The area of Israel north of Jerusalem was called Samaria, the area south of Jerusalem, Judea (Judah). In modern times, Judea and Samaria refers to the mountainous area west of the Jordan River, home to many notable sites.

Hebron— Burial place of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their wives. Later on, David set up his kingdom there
Shiloh—Resting place of the Tabernacle for 369 years. Shechem—(Nabulus, burial place of Joseph on a plot of land bought by Jacob.
    Bethel—Traditional site of Jacob's dream.
Elon Moreh—Site of God’s promise of the land to Abraham. ....and on and on it goes.

Descendents of the Biblical Abraham the Jewish and Muslim adherents quote from the Talmud and Koran to proclaim and narrate ancient beliefs that continue to greatly shape global contemporary religious and cultural traditions, I ask is it not now time to say, “Enough is enough?”
How many more people in the “Holy Land” need to die because neither side want to co-exist in peace? Pictures coming out of Gaza everyday show horrific images of murdered and mutilated Palestinian children. Surely at Christmastime now is the time to stop the slaughter of the innocents?

BT, the slaughter of the innocents was started by a Roman long before we were on this earth. Perhaps you should have a word with the Italians because they started it ---strangely enough on what is now my birthday ----28 December.

Israel is perfectly happy to co-exist in peace and does co-exist quite peacefully with Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Morocco and Sudan, the Druze communities in Syria are currently pleading with Israel to annexe them, and 25% of Israel's population is not Jewish

"After the army left, the army threw burning bombs at the school, and those who remained inside and tried to take cover were burned alive by the Israeli army,” al-Sharif said."

Yes of course they were, burned to a cinder I'm sure. Of course Mr. al-Sharif will have mobile phone footage of this atrocity, which he will already have released to the world's media. I await a viewing of this footage with interest, although I won't be holding my breath, because there is no footage, because it never happened. Anyone who believes this arsewipe's anti-semitic drivel has got to be mentally deranged and should seek treatment.

Jordan has far more to fear from Iran than Israel, which has no designs on it whatsoever. On the other hand I doubt the IDF will be taking a backward step in Lebanon any time soon, and if Israel and Turkey carve up what's left of Syria between them, it would not surprise me. I said a few days ago that the map of the ME is now being redrawn, and it is.

I doubt the Hamas scum had any idea just what they were starting in October last year and where it would lead to, did they ? Braindead doesn't even begin to describe it, as now the vast majority of them are just dead full stop.

A guy who is reshaping the Middle East by military means is standing trial for corruption. We are living in a pfhucking global lunatic asylum.

Meanwhile the cruel b@stard continues to kill women and kids, abduct and execute male Palestinians and deny them all water...

Well perhaps we should start referring to Newcastle as Pons Aelius or Carlisle as Luguvalium? The whack jobs in the US Senate now want to go back in time and call the Occupied West Bank Judea & Samaria.
