    Just watched the highlights.

HIVs first goal sums up perfectly everything wrong with those two CHs.

Molloy loses yet another header from a long ball due to both his complete lack of size & physicality & the horrendous timing of his attempted header - far from the first time.

Then Ruby has a ridiculous fresh air swipe at a ball he should clear in his sleep. Impetuous brain fart defending - far from the first time.

It just wont do, we need to upgrade there massively.

Quite why MacDonald cant get a sniff is completely beyond me. Absolutely baffling given the clear weaknesses of those other two - weaknesses that are now costing us every week.

The other 2 goals were terrible too. Clarkson had a good game but fuuck me son, thats a horrendous pass to give away the third.

Until we stop shooting ourselves in the foot every week, we will continue to struggle.

MacDonald came in for the final run of games under Leven last season and helped shore up the back line.

Something must have gone wrong between him and Thelin as no sane manager keeps that defence together when it clearly isn't working.

Once Hibs got their third they didn't bother with us anymore, as they knew they would score again if required and possibly couldn't believe their luck when they saw Ambrose come on the pitch.

We made a very poor Hibs back line look very good yesterday.

I also thought Clarkson had a good game yesterday. The error for the 3rd goal is down to how Thelin is wanting us to play and teams pressing us into making mistakes like that one.

I have no problem with Thelin wanting us to play out from defence as it worked at the beginning of the season. But now teams have figured out how to exploit our weaknesses it?s obvious that we will need to bring in better players if we want to continue to play that way.

Do you remember at the start of last season when Robson kept persisting with Rubezic even though he was making a lot of mistakes and people were questioning why he wasn?t playing MacDonald instead?

Considering Thelin is choosing Rubezic over MacDonald as well is there some issue with MacDonalds fitness or is it because Rubezic is seen as ?part of the process ? by people within the club in we can develop him and sell him on for a huge profit?

Either way it seems pointless even having MacDonald here and the Malloy/Ruby partnership is not working so we need to bring in an experienced defender to play alongside one of them at the very least.

I remember last season very well and that is why I was a little worried with what I witnessed yesterday.

One off bad performances you can expect and put down to just having a bad day. A dip in form usually happens for most teams, but our form has fallen off a cliff.

It's as you say about teams knowing how we play and our many weaknesses.

MacDonald came in at Tynecastle and did ok considering he has hardly played all season. Can only assume his fitness is a concern, as I don't think Jimmy would cut his nose to spite his face and isn't seeing what we all are.

I can see Jensen coming back and playing for us in the second half of the season.

We did that remembering those that passed before the game and noticed the name of an accountant I used to work with.

Was thinking it canna be him as was only around 38.

Got home and checked and sure enough it was him. 38 years old with two wee kids.

He was a toff of a guy as well. A really good person.

A surprise visit fae ma daughter yesterday spared ma the misery o' watchin' the game. Terrible result

As Moog say's, the plaudits were deserved throughout our incredible start tae the season, therefore criticism is equally appropriate.

They say the league table disna lie, and our predicament is highlighted by the table of all teams last six results - as currently stands ....

    Look away now .....

    VicTims .............. 16
    Huns .................. 16
    St Midden ........... 12
    Spoonburners....... 10
    Pikeys ................. 9
    Rat Munchers ....... 7
    Farts ................... 7
    Dundee ............... 7
    Killie ................... 6
    Fairmers .............. 4
    Aberdeen ............ 3
    Race Co .............. 3

Jansen absolutely is not the answer for us at the back - hes just a more experienced Molloy basically.

The recruitment team & Thelins wee black book (or fitever he uses) need to get to work to find the 2 guys we need.

Im hoping they know who those guys are & the wheels are in motion ready for January already.
