Another point of view would be to say keep the winning team.
Maybe go a couple of goals up.
Then start resting and using the squad.

Nice argument to be having though after an away win.
    Happy enough

Yeah but if we didn't score...and those blokes played a good 70 or so minutes and were underperforming, he would probably be looking to bring the likes of Joseph, Ramazani, Gnonto etc. In for the next game v Blackburn. 🤔 Can see where you are coming from mate, but as you say there are 2 views. So doesn't Farke have the same issue as us trying and hoping to pick the best one? Not sure any manager will get that right all the time...even in the PL I notice!

Was forced into watching on delay (so no blindingly obvious nonsense from me during the game).

Derby were another poor side and, other than the goal (which was a thing of beauty), we didn’t seem to have our shooting boots on.

Happy with a win. The lads done good. Thankfully!

Farke has faith in the strength too, and thought how good it would be to use them all and have fresh faces back in v Blackburn. 🤔 Let's be totally honest, the players starting today simply didn't take the chance he provided them! Was that his fault? Gave them the usual hour and said we have to change it up now. And guaranteed...if he had have started the match with the same side from the last game...and we didn't score...you people would have complained that the players looked tired and needed replacing! No doubt in my mind at all! 😀 Hindsight..... Anyway, hope he keeps phooking up enough to keep us top of the ladder, otherwise the s#it will really hit the fan on here. 🙄

By the way, shots were 18 to 5 again. Therein lies our problem

    Agree with Ozwhite.

This question will largely answer itself as we head into the business-end of the season, as players will experience inevitable fatigue & injury - thus our squad players will need to be called upon.

My opinion is that Farke has been gambling on the fitness & reliability of his key players so far this season with plenty of injury management going on too & not helped by the international breaks either & to his credit is currently on a winning streak for the most part, end of.

Next international break is 17th/25th March 2025, so hopefully we dont have a distracting Jan 25 window upsetting the squads current momentum.

    Happy clapper here tho.👍

    My 2 cents

I agree with the team selection. We ran over them and should have been able to give some players a rest. That?s not his fault we can?t beat there keeper. I seem to recall our squad last year broke down in the home stretch due to mental and physical fatigue

Aaronson gets a lot of stick. We overpaid for him but that?s not his fault. He hustles and he?s quick enough to keep defenders honest . Opens the wings up for us. He?s started shooting and has some velocity. He?s better than most in this league. He is unselfish

Ampadu has an anger management problem. If I am an opposuing coach I cheap shot him early and often. He is almost sure to foul or card himself out of a game. It will cost us in the stretch run

Tough game cracking goal but a very good 3 pts , same again New Years will do nicely.

We need a striker in Jan if possible.
