I would love to know who this mythical manager is who will play more attacking football with this current squad be happy to lose games as long as we play well, get us in the play- offs then in the summer let all the out of contract players go and be able to build a new squad, its a very difficult choice what we don't want is to be like Stoke, Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday and a number of other clubs that continually changed their manager and ended up at the bottom of the champ or in League 1.

Strange how you mention Sunderland as Mowbray did a fantastic job there with exciting football and no money before being unfairly sacked. Again this season they did some clever loans and lost a fantastic player in Clarke and play on the front foot.

Sunday was exciting against the league leaders and even at 1-1 the intent was there to win the game rarely seen. Brunty is an honest lad and likes to play on the front foot - in fact I was sharing a drink with him two weeks ago and he made a cutting comment that he hoped we weren?t going to draw again.

The young Liverpool coach seems good as he?s known for his attacking approach - we could also tap into some pacey talented youngsters too - Koumas for example would hugely benefit us and he was superb when we went to Stoke.

For me complete optimism going forward now!

No actually Dubs - after seeing Sunday - a couple of new additions and the right manager - more optimistic than a month ago. I hope Patel uses the 2.5 million from the release wisely and have complete confidence he will.

All Quiet on the Western Front at the moment. Not many rumours flying about on the new manager situation. Probably a good thing.

It would be sad and shortsighted to lose a potential talent like Chris Brunt. I have stopped looking at the papers with all their speculation as it can be quite irritating.
