Yes, and all the idiots setting off fireworks, drives my dog absolutely crazy. The only place for those rockets is up the backsides of the morons letting them off. Peaceful New Year, some hope!

Know what you mean Ketts! mine is an 8 stone Boxer Mastif cross but he hates fireworks. Having just gone outside for a wee and barking at the sky for 5 minutes he is now hiding under the duvet next to me.

Tbh, I do accept that people may want to set off fireworks as part of celebrations on Bonfire Night, Diwali, NYE or Chinese New Year for example but really do think that they should be limited to public displays and then only within a set time period and on those days only. As you say, too many are inconsiderate of neighbours and pets/animals and set them off whenever they want.
