Who said that? Brunt has nothing to do with it as you have told everyone! Funny though the same subs weakened the side and wrecked momentum once again!

Whatever happens it does not work with a former player managing the club. We saw that with Big Dave who was clueless and good for him he?s now found the right level in league 2.

Have you not thought to yourself - almost every poster on the board has an issue with subs or play reverting to type - including those who have just come back from the match or go to the matches. You don?t go to any matches but everything is beautiful in your eyes. That?s laughable!! Perhaps those paying good money at Preston who booed the subs are all idiots in your view?

I understand that Abella was the First Team Statistical Analyst under Carlos. I wonder what statistics he analyses ?

PS There is a short decent fun video interview with the WBA website with Maja and Styles, post Preston match - made me smile

Im not actually a fan of the subs but as one commentator rightfully said theyre all doing it these days. I dont see why we ALL have to copy the modern model but thats what seems to happen. I do understand resting players though especially over a busy period.

Everything these days Prando. It all helps get a big picture of where each player is at. What other teams tend to do and when, tactics that have more success about certain styles of play, everything. Big part of the modern game these days.

Our options seem to be limited at the moment now that Robbins has gone to Stoke and Carsley is not interested. I certainly don’t fancy Williams from Swansea or many of the others who are in the frame. From my viewpoint the outstanding candidate appears to be Heitinga. If not him, let’s hope that they have someone up their sleeve that we are not aware of.

Its not looking great is it. Some think that Heitinga is still a gamble. Mowbray is still recovering from serious illness, and like you Williams doesnt excite me at all. Corberan ticked a lot of boxes. We should be looking for the same ie a 46% win rate or better.

Luke Williams will have an interview tomorrow morning for #WBA . His agent has been in contact for the last 3 days back and fourth, holding good talks.
Compensation looks as if it will be 1.8m, if everything goes ahead tomorrow.

I really hope this is all *******s, an uninspiring appointment of Alan Irvine proportions, more backwards, sideways slow football that would make Corberans style look like Brazil
A big no for me, we can do do much better, I?d rather keep Abella and Brunt until the end of the season, the teams playing well under these guys

Lewis Cox has just said he?s no longer in the frame. Shame I?d have liked him.
