Do not get me wrong Al, I agree that we need a new face in charge but I am quite happy with those in charge until we can get the right man. Mind you, I have not got a clue as to who that will be!

We seem to drift into a lethargic state when needing to manage games out. The change into hanging-on strategy, allowing possession and backing off is, sadly, regularly evident.
I had hoped that the Brunty influence would keep us on the front foot in such situations. Virtually all the 2nd half vs Preston and final minutes today reflected this endeavour to allow the opposition to attack and the Swansea goal was no surprise ! Disappointing.

Just looked at it Diangana showed no interest in stopping the cross for their goal, Swift and Cole offer nothing and as much as I like Mowatt he slows us down so much

According to reports, Heitinga has no intention of leaving Liverpool for us. If not, who else is in the frame? Someone who we would want that is!

Don?t get me wrong Leicester Brunty is a top guy but we need to learn from Big Dave. Port Vale are league 2 and sliding down the table of late.

Brunty/Abella - same thought process to CC where his last 15 games were bottom of the table stats. I know you don?t agree with Wallace starting and donkey Cole coming on and as Prando stated - we fall into a lethargic state.

We need a new manager in quickly. Tick tock - tick tock with the January window.

Who will we get? Well that depends on how much money Patel wants to pay. You pay peanuts you attract monkeys.

Asda is in a mess because the two Blackburn brothers didn?t want to pay 10 million for a CEO. The end result is a loss of strategic direction and now they are in the background - guess what?

I would get rid of absolute garbage like Grady - Swift - Wallace and Cole ( even off the pay roll ) and put the money into a decent manager appointment.

New manager, well, yes, if he takes us forwards and plays good football but that is not always guaranteed. Personally, I would stick with Brunt & Co until the end of the season and see where we are and who is available. I don’t think that we are in any danger of going down and promotion is only a very outside chance given our current squad, so we don’t need to make a hurried appointment.

My only criticism of Chris Brunt (&his team) is his continued use of Cole, a terrible player. If we were intending on holding on to the one nil, surely Racic would have been far better than Cole? Actually, he would always be a far better option than Cole in any circumstance! I was disappointed when Diakite was hooked, he was playing really well.

This is what I meant in another post regarding substitutions. There is no need to make them unless absolutely necessary. Surely, if a player can last 75 minutes or so they can last another 15 minutes. We have lost or drawn too many games by doing this.

Exactly, but would a new manager not do this? They all seem to be the same these days, must make substitutions come what may. It seems absurd to me, especially when a club has a squad like ours. If we start with our best team, make a couple of good subs, then change for changes sake, why, when you’re bringing on lesser quality.

Im in the keep it as it is camp as it stands. We are not going up, i think that is the truth of the matter. As i said previously see where we are at the end of this season and go from there.

No point in making a rash appointment. Im sure the current team in charge, like Carlos, make selections with what they see during training/fitness etc.

Those looking for instant success need to give their head a wobble. Financially, we remain somewhat tied up. Players with contracts are not easy to shift, particularly if the expert fan base see they are not good enough for a particular club, why would a professional manager want to pay good money for them?

But whilst good in a caretaking role - they are not experienced in management. We could easily make the play offs with a good appointment.

We don?t need people who have the same logic as a past manager - rather have a fresh manager and fresh ideas.

Is CC guaranteed at Valencia? Personally I think it will end in tears and would place a bet on it! I hope not for him but certain it will.

You want a decent manager then this costs money. We made a huge mistake with Big Dave who must be drooling over Walsall and how their manager is doing. Let?s not make it again!
