Personally speaking, yes. Essentially since Warne left we've had a steady decline on various fronts with very little to celebrate or offer a flicker of hope. With no obvious end in sight and knowing full well most of this squad are short term only, I think that in terms of compounding the feeling that things aren't right I think this is the worst continuous stretch since the move.
As Brin points out, even the owner has said he lost interest last term. There are very few signs that any of the players are going to prove to be that guy who's rallying the fans. Practically none of them would survive if we got up, and the majority are due to ship out this year anyway. We've had some great seasons either fighting against the odds or scrapping to get up, and it has felt for some time as though the fight has gone. We've seldom had a noisy ground, but lately it's as bad as I can remember - and although it divides opinion, at least at Millmoor we had the underdog mentality and spirit in the stands, now we're just sat silently admiring the grey bowl.
So, yes. In my opinion, the last two years are easily the worst and most continuously flat since the move, despite having had some great ones in the prior 10. I think we're now in a lengthier plateau too, but hopefully I'm wrong.
