    Apologies, for clarification, the reported offences in Rotherham happened between 1997 and 2013 so many occurred during Labour's time in power but I meant that the investigations and failings to respond properly to them fell under the Conservative's tenure.

    That the failings of the CPS were a huge part of the reason that some gangs and individuals avoided prosecution is undeniable but to lay it all on Starmer, who worked to change the system to help such cases come to court, seems a little too easy.
