    Its too Late...Carol King.

Theres a song called its too late on Tapestry, Kings solid gold album, the lyrics sum up my divorce from Cambridge United.

Aprt from the humiliation i endured and i must have reparation.

The board met recently and decided to try and save the club from relegation, Monk is safe, a strangely sane decision.

Not only that but they say they will spend money, amazing. THAT MEANS THEY ALWAYS HAD IT TO SPEND, BUT DID NOT.

And in true Carol King mode.

    ITS TOO LATE.

Mind you it probably means a striker from Lowestoft might rock up.

    Or from Heybridge Swifts.

    South Park.

    Trowbridge.

Skegness, no not the southern league club, the united counties club.

Walsall Wood, a signing from there would be easy, theyve gone bust.

    Ansty Nomads.

Chucking good money after bad, even if its ten pounds and sixpence, the club is a joke. Get some real money men in, stop the millions on the community trust,

a bottomless pit...... its about football idiots.

Tapestry is a great album Frank with not a bad track on it,Its not too Late was written by Toni Stern after her breakup with James Taylor who played guitar on the song and I always wondered if he knew that the song was about him,he did a great cover of Youve Got A Friend from the album not long after which in my eyes is the definitive version, also on there is You make me like a Natural Woman which was covered so brilliantly by Aretha,I could go on all day about this album as the Legacy version is one of my favourite albums of all time especially the live versions on the bonus cd and So Far Away is also worth a listen, your mate Joni Mitchell sings backing on Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow as well

Taylor did a great album with in my mind im going to Carolina or something like that. The california 1970s were a grewat time for music. Can you name some good music, ill look it up on you tube.

Years ago on chat shows they had new bands on at the end, it was all rubbish, i gave up in the 80s.

To recommend some new music to someone is an impossible task, their taste in music will differ from mine and what I consider to be a brilliant album they would probably see as rubbish and vice versa,it?s been proven that most adults once they hit 35 tend to listen music that they are familiar with and the percentage gets higher the older that we get with each generation criticising the next generations music without really listening to it,there are great songs out there just waiting to be discovered if you look but I fear that you will just put Carpenters Gold on instead

Harry Nilsson is a great singer songwriter in my eyes Frank and is mostly known for two songs that he didn?t write himself,Everyones Talking and Without You,he sang and wrote another song called Without Her which is one of my favourite songs of all time

Nillson indeed, i couldnt get without you out of my head as a ****ager. Yes you are right, i only listen to what i listened to in my youth. Having said that whats her name who i regard is new came and went, she did some good stuff.

Ive even watched some of her interviews recently. Yes i am going yampy i cant remember her name, anyway, there cant be a more ordinary person. Not Adele the other one.

To get a musical hit you have to repeatedly listen, and life isnt like that anymore, listening to the radio doesnt happen.

The better the music the longer it takes to get it.

Tony Blackburn was the radio superstar of all time.

I was trying to think who meant with the female singer and the only person that I could come up with of who is on par with Adele was Taylor Swift but she is definitely still here music wise and probably the most influential woman in music

To my ears John Peel was the greatest dj thst there has been,Tony Blackburn was good but he was too cheesy with his presentation for my liking
