Heard this off 3 different people this week now who are regulars at Ilkeston Town they reckon that we?ve already had a ?25k bid turned down for one of there strikers who?s there top scorer.

Tom Cursons is 23 , a University International and been leading The NPL goalscoring charts most of the season. A very good forward at that level, quick,strong, athletic and scores a variety of goals.
A National League club offered ?30 k pre season and Lincoln City were very interested pre season too but we're quoted twice what Notts have reputedly offered.
Ilkeston aren't desperate for cash and won't consider offers less than the Lincoln City quotation.

No one knows what has it hasn?t been offered. No one knows the structure of payments either. Lincoln may have offered double, but what if it?s heavily incentivised?
I have no idea if we or any club are in for this lad..what id say is that a/ clubs like Ilkeston won?t have 2/3 year contracts and b/ would they really stop any player moving in to the pro leagues?

Depends who is in the know and I know the bloke at Ilkeston who matters.
I also know that Lincoln hadn't made a specific offer but I know the fee that ITFC wanted pre season .
All Lincoln offered, was a pre season trial period which Ilkeston rightly declined in the light of any injuries occurring.
