I rest my case..... 1 minute and 18 secs into the video. Their clumsy player is no where near the ball and clearly knees Wilks in the back of the legs, no contact with the ball whatsoever so a straight red! Now had the incapable Ref understood the rules correctly then their number 5 would have walked, instead it was 3 minutes of waffle with the assistant official before 'something' was decided.

Jules, solid as a rock. And finally Odoffin. Give this lad the contract (money) he deserves. He was tremendous. Onwards and upwards
This could be the turning point for us.At last we seem to have a settled central defence with Jules and Odoffin, they are both athletic and the right age.In front of them playing holding midfielder, we have Humphreys,he looks so comfortable playing in that role. Before we sign anybody, I urge the board to offer extended improved contracts to both Cam and Hacks and build the team round these players.Today we seemed to play as a team who supported each other.Powell is improving each match and now we have replaced the slow JCH and Hugill we look very bright up front. However we are short in numbers having allowed five to leave the club and we must replace with younger talent. We need two more in midfield,a wide player and a striker.

It was very clumsy, and there's the key word, clumsy. Clumsy isn't deliberate. It doesn't matter if he kneed him in the back of the legs, it doesn't matter if he made no contact with the ball, It was't a deliberate foul. He tried for the ball and failed, he didn't deliberately pull him back or deliberately hack his legs away. I'm not sure you've understood the rules correctly.

Either way, I agree with Mellow, probably the first home game this season I've enjoyed as well, great to see and fair play to all involved. Interesting to still see so many empty seats despite two good away results, possibly that was more down to the weather than anything else, hopefully a few more will return for the next home game.

I often hear complaints, and indeed make them myself, that we don't get the run of the ball. Today, most things seemed to drop in our favour. Interesting isn't it - the more effort the team put in, the more we get the run of the ball!

Note to the chairman. If you sell Humphreys or Odoffin in this window you risk the wrath of every supporter.

Even some at home Bolton supporters with several views said it was a straight red.
    Irrelevant now.
    Great watch though.
1966 when they last won in Rotherham, apparently.

Nice to enjoy a beer with a good performance and result behind us, well done lads.
The Key to me is that Evans has done what a lot of us have asked for and ditched the statues we had as centre forwards and payed mobile skilful players, Having forwards that move and run into positions gives the midfield more options and helps them be better players.
Which is what we saw today.
It was a joy to see us dominate of the second half and play the game in their half for most of it. We haven't seen that for a while.
The defence looked solid througout with just a lapse in concentration for their goal. Jules was immense and so cool on the ball.
Humphreys showed the skill and coolness we know he possesses what a class player. Powells best game for us too.
As a team we did so well even McDonald produced some good stuff today, the caveat is McWilliams who i think impersonating a footballer, he's no more than a pub player
