I don’t dislike Dyche but I do not think that this is the right time for a manager of his ilk. Surely we must be looking for a young, progressive manager with new ideas and a more proactive approach. I must admit though that there is very little out there that excites me. I am somewhat concerned with the current situation but hope that my concerns will prove to be unfounded.

What you have to realise is that we will not attract any decent manager to leave their current club to come to us. Our only option is to pick up a manager from the pool of out of work managers who have been dismissed from their previous clubs.

I wouldn’t have a problem with Dyche. I believe he is a disciplinarian, which suits my style. He is used to handling a limited budget.

I think that we are a more attractive option than Luton who are looking at Bloomfield, the Wycombe manager. To my mind, he is the sort that we should be looking at.

It won?t be Dyche as he?s on gardening leave and premier wages. We?d have to pay to get him which apparently put us off Cooper.

I read somewhere how pricey it can be to pay compensation on back room staff. With PSR being an issue I imagine they want a cheap appointment and he?s wasn?t willing to budge on his back room staff.

God knows where this leaves us.

I would be surprised if we could match Dyche’s wage demands. What is Sir Gary doing? As mentioned before, there’s a bloke at Kilmarnock who knows the Albion well……..

Or the cost? A new manager should have the right to bring in his own coaching staff - new ideas and same wavelength.

For me short term - I would get Mowbray in which might suit him too with his health. Front foot and an absolute brilliant job at Sunderland and he?s knows us well!
