    Don Goodman

Quote. The problem with Dyche, are West Brom attractive enough for someone as well-established as him? Goodman said.

You would think this bloke after playing for this great club would have more respect but no, any opportunity he gets he puts us down. What he should be saying is West Brom can do much better than Dyche!

There?s no way we could afford Dyche and to be fair it would be a backwards step for him coming from the Premier to an average Championship side.

Mowbray would be the best bet - he did an absolute fantastic job at Sunderland with youth and can remember when they ran us off the park at our place ( 2-1 ) with quick passing football.

Dont fancy Mowbray really. His health will be an issue for a while. I dont care how much money Dyche has been on hes one of the old school were trying to move away from.

Mowbray would be worth bringing in on a short term contract with the view of extending it - might suit him too.

His record at Sunderland can?t be faulted and they out footballed us at our place as was there. Good with youngsters too.

I also remember them not playing so well as all teams do. Short term contract might give us some more time and the opportunity for him to prove himself again, I wouldnt be against that if we dont have anyone else to choose from.

Absolutely right Boingy buddy. Goodman is always has too many derogatory remarks when commentating on matches. Clearly he has a grievance against WBA and, should not be involved!

When I saw your thread heading…Don Goodman…I had a little panic thinking he was a candidate for head coach ………

You could put either Super Bob or Andy Hunt in the team now, at their ages, and they would still be far better than Cole.
