"In the latest accounts of Rotherham-based manufacturing firm, ASD Lighting PLC, Rotherham United Football Club is listed as a debtor owing GBP5.2m."
"The latest accounts from ASD show that the GBP1m in sponsorship continued in 2024.
Documents also show that: "At 30 June 2024 included within debtors was GBP5,204,737 (2023: GBP929,150) due from Rotherham United Football Club (RUFC) Limited. The outstanding balance is repayable on demand."
Also Included in other debtors is an amount of GBP12,961,391 due from R U Estates Limited, a company of which Tony Stewart and son Richard are directors. This is thought to have been established when the AESSEAL New York Stadium was constructed and all parties share banking facilities with Barclays."

I wonder how much RUFC will owe TS when he decides he has had enough.
We'd better be nice to Mr Stewart then... seems he's running us up a proper slate. So actually, all the money that Evans' Bank of Stewart is 'putting in' is actually just a loan, to be called in when it suits.
This was discussed on a thread a couple of weeks ago. It will be interesting to see when the RUFC accounts come out how much of this was repaid using the summer transfer dealings and season ticket income? A 5M debt repayable on demand certainly won't help the sale of the club which I'd mentioned I wouldn't even pay 1 GBP for given the debt, non-ownership of NYS and current state of the team/league position.
Tony Stewart is a generous man
So 5 million down.
The fans have financed the 7 million already paid of the mortgage through their attendances to the matches.
13 million still to pay on the 20 year mortgage so the interest on the load is front loaded within the mortgage deal.
If the club gets 6000 supporters per match then the mortgage will be covered.
TS is looking at either continuing until the mortgage is paid then rent the stadium to the club or sell up or passing on the mortgage on to the new owner.
................ tax purposes??
