Let's not forget he recently scored against his new club in our 2-0 win. I think that shows some professionalism to not upset his future employers.

Thanks Dan for your contribution these last two seasons.
Obviously money talks and you're happy playing football in a library for a plastic franchise club then best of luck.

Oh well lets make sure we go up and leave him playing his football for a soulless club in an empty stadium while he counts his money at night
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? ( perhaps a little pretentious)

    Corrosive to relationships
Dan is a good guy but he's handled this very badly

Very good post... absolutely gutted that he chose a vile non entity of a club like Mk Dons but in the post it says he wanted to go so obviously something on his brain...more than likely money but hey who knows, can't see him getting a good reception when he returns with that plastic club but hey thanks for your time Dan.

Thank you for your performances in a Notts shirt Dan, you?ve been an absolute pleasure to watch. I would normally wish you well on this move, but because it?s to a club I despise I hope you fail miserably. If you move to a proper club in the future I?ll probably wish you well again.

Our owners' statement is pretty blunt isn't it? Basically, sod off!

Yeah also a bit gutted. He was quality. And players with that kinda composure are as has already been said pretty rare at this level. Great observations about the board statement though (love the comment about how loan players have had warmer send offs) and I do wonder if his lack of commitment to the club will be a blessing in disguise that he's now gone. And yeah seriously MK Dons over us WTF! (But also thank you Dan for the great performances).

Absolutely the right decision by the club, and if the rumoured fee of 300K is anywhere near close then it?s a great bit of business for a player who clearly wanted away.
