In their hateful hearts neither Hamas nor Netanyahu truly want peace mon ami. The Holy Land is pfhucked and it will be way beyond our lifetimes before any Israeli can sleep safely in their bed.

What chance peace when Israel has whack jobs like Itamar Ben-Gvir spouting this sort of inflammatory bollox? He has called for a complete cut-off of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, including fuel, electricity and water, with the aim of the "total subjugation" of Hamas.

Another one of "God's chosen people" proclaiming "God is Love". Not!

It's to be hoped the the PA can put the lid on Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Judea and Samaria, otherwise the IDF will do it for them, and it won't be pretty.

Peace, yes as yet correct, no chance. How can there be when Iran does not recognise Israel's right to exist and seeks its eradication.??

Other factors that have contributed to the escalation of bilateral tensions include Iran's development of nuclear technology relative to Israel's long-stated Begin Doctrine, Iran's funding of Islamist groups such as Hezbollah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hamas, and the Houthi movement, as well as alleged involvement in terrorist attacks such as the 1992 attack on the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires and the 1994 AMIA bombing.
Then again if Iran does not recognise Israel's right to exist. How can there be peace?

The Muslim Brotherhood ? That's a blast from the past mon ami, my dad told me they were a pain in the arse when he was on guard duty in Egypt during WW2, and that was before I was born. I don't think they have much clout these days.

It's a generic term I use to put a collective noun on three billion global Muslims mon ami. Three billion people who loathe and detest a pocket of people living in highly contested stolen land that is regarded as the holiest of the holy. Peace? No chance.

There can never be peace when the Jews pull these sort of stunts...

'' The Holy Land is pfhucked and it will be way beyond our lifetimes before any Israeli can sleep safely in their bed.'' Israel's reporter on the spot the famous ( B T .) And he knows yer know ! All the problems he has studied from books and newspapers.

No problems here in Israel ! Surely you mean in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan or Egypt?
