I for one , will not mourn his passing. I do, however believe the bros. Need to invest some of the money in a good attacking midfielder or better still a striker. If we are now finished in the transfer window, I think we are coming into February weaker rather stronger and that would be a travesty and cost us promotion
You ?don?t see what all the fuss? is about, but despite being replaced by 2 players from 2 and 3 levels above, we?re weaker. Make your mind up.

Feels unfair.on Hinchy, we are signing players who are young and with potential. Hinchy has been pretty good in his last couple of appearances, look how long it took for Ruben to find his feet
My thoughts exactly, what is he 21/22? He?s granted had a couple of bad games but he?s young and also our player now to develop. There?s too many people who just jump on players after 3 or 4 games saying their crap. It was also the same with Martin and McDonald but tbf they?ve started to show a lot more promise with a bit of game time.

Just looking at the squad on Transfermarkt it shows 27 players with an average age of 26.1 yrs. Take Didzy (37) and Slocombe (36) out of the equation and that average age get's closer to 25. We have 14 players in the squad who are 25 or under, those being:

    Stone 25
    Bedeau 25
    Macari 22
    Ness 22
    Johnson 20 (Loan)
    Abbott 19 (loan)
    Hinchy 21
    Robertson 23
    Grant 23
    Tsaroulla 25
    Whitaker 21
    Sanderson 18
    Jarvis 22
    Martin 23

Even without the loanees that a decent crop of youth/younger players on the books and aligns perfectly with the Bros model.

Just to repeat this was the information on Transfermarkt and not my own analysis.

We probably should expect to be weaker (and at the wrong end of the season) but hopefully weaker only through experience and that should come good for next season (Notts coming good next season seems to be a trend). We are still up there though and it only takes one or two of the young lads to come out all guns blazing for us to get play-offs at least.

Whether you think i talk crap or not, the important thing is you happy clapping a player who has made it quite clear that he didnt want to play for us.. You seem to be one of these guys who stands and applauds a manager having just lost 10 games on the trot...

Hinchy was good at the start of the season and has been fine since. He is definitely improving and has plenty to offer.

There are far too many on here, and football in general, so happy to completely write players off quickly. There is no room for thought, or context, just a “they are ****.”

I also have seen some wild revisionism of DC and the attitude towards the profile those cited as a replacement. In the summer, people were hammering the fact we were bringing in kids from academies and have youngsters on the bench, but now Jarvis and Whitaker have been cited as DC replacements, there is none of that energy.

I trust the club to make the right decisions and on recruitment they have made plenty of correct choices; many more good than not so good.

But some of the fan flip flopping is hilarious.

Maybe it's called giving someone some support. It is what SUPPORTERS are supposed to do. Especially when it is clear that the person involved is making an effort. Unless detailed inside information and analysis is advertised we can only applaud the club management.

As a youngster I was told by the music teacher (job = teach) that I was useless (cr@p in your words) and not included in anything other than the occasional ding of the triangle. In later years I picked up classical guitar up to around Grade 5 and did a couple of small recitals. I went to singing classes at the age of 50+ and whilst I'm no Bing Crosby the tutor made me focus on my breathing - people often sing flat not because they are tone deaf but because they've run out of puff.

I would have been a much better musician had I not lost those early years with an inferiority complex in music.

You weren't that music teacher by any chance were you?

You seem to be one of these guys who rarely applaud, when you do it?s reluctantly and to mainly join in with the people around you happy clapping
