To your post, about what Steve Evans has been promised, which of course is speculation, we would need to be a fly on the wall, to know.
But when Steve Evans left last time, it was said he & Tony Stewart had different views of a way forward.
We will have to see what comes out of the cooking pot, in the January transfer window, either loans, or even short to the end of the season contract.
To a player who does not have a club, a short contract is better than none.
