    Sad to learn JC has passed on .... His tenure was at the very least, interesting, and occasionally exciting. The fact he dug our beloved Dons out of a dark hole and treated us to some occasions and periods which gave us cause for optimism, and left us in a far, far better condition than he found us, is all that needs considered as a measure of a successful and effective boss.

    A genuine character who is a miss to football in general, as well as to those closest to him. He will be remembered each and every time we encounter the words 'tombola' and 'bugles' - and fondly so I suspect.

    He states he had a good life. Thanks for sharing it with us JC ... R.I.P.

    I still occasionally shout bugles towards the end of games when we’re getting beat and I want subs on/players up the park
