Trying to look at the positive.

At least we haven't signed another winger.
we haven't bought an overpriced desperation situation type of player
We haven't sold one of our CB's
We haven't sold one one of mids
    We haven't sold Elland Road.

Yes but we lost a bunch of supporter's as were not welcomed due to the fact we cant get to matches and we aren't aware of our surroundings.

Look supposedly we have the best squad in the league on top and a shoo in for promotion. The top chief said we don't need anyone so that should be it. What can possibly go wrong please trust in the hierarchy. Only sad thing is watching all the younger brigade been condemned to unknown places. God help them if they get shipped out to that far away big Island as they might actually get to play the game

Pascal could be out for months now too. Farke saying they are not in panic mode to buy.
Am thinking they must be putting that message out there so as not to get humped with even more inflated player values in January. In recent times they have been fairly good at going under the radar to land targets

Rumour is Aston Villa are willing to loan out Buendia. He is a number 10, and came up from the championship with Farke (Norwich). Buendia has not had many mins lately as he has gone down the pecking order. If he is anywhere near his best, he is a Premier League quality player. No doubt about that. All we have playing this position at the moment is Aaronson, who has done okay, given its not his preferred position. Just rumours at the moment but they have persisted.

Bueandia would be a great addition but not sure he wants to drop down to the EFL.

Quite like Ampadu at CB and blessed with options in midfield at the moment. Rothwell and Tanaka at 6 and 8 gives us a bit more creativity too.

I suspect that Ampadu is not an option for midfield anymore given the CB situation.

The Buendia/farke relationship could be a factor in him coming, very creative good player, but highly unlikely he?d drop a division

3 more points chalked up - but again we let the oppos in for spells, last game.

The No.10 conundrum was a position Farke wanted over summer & one he did not get & it shows every 90 mins we play, incuding yesterday when 1 nil up, imo

CEO Angus Kinnear singled out that particular failure as the only real blot on an otherwise satisfactory summer window & links have not gone away in the months since.

If we have no attacking threat, why do teams sit so deep against us, even playing away ?

Somebody must think we are a threat but they also know we are predictable in how we get into the goal-mouth with our defenders in tandem. We need a better midfield option quicky to provide more direct forward passing options without the need to over load on every attack we make, imo.

Emi Buendia at Villa is the biz, missed out on him last summer - a game changer, not cheap (cira 20m) but apparently of interest again.👍

Did well for Farke & was the Norwich ball supplier for Pukkis mazy runs with pin point passes aimed between the oppos central defenders & full-backs channels to chase onto.

A beautifully balanced player with sublime passing skills all over the pitch & also has that calmness we lack at times currently, imo.
His main strength is his positional intelligence which again is of enormous benefit for the team as he operates as that free extra man who tucks into half-spaces to create attacking 'central' overloads which we just cannot accomodate currently from within our squad personnel.

Farkes systems afford his creative players the licence to rotate positionally, which was the case at Norwich - which suits Buendia as he often drops deep to carry the ball forward with controlled dribbling & is adept to playing early penetrative passes capable of breaking the oppositions defensive lines.

We desperatelty need a Buendia player type who is adept at pulling defenders out of their positions to complement our free running stretching of defences who often sit deep.
This is the calibre of player we need to aim for !
Should be knocking on the Villa door for a deal to loan now buy later, imo, as the player needs real game time & we need that elusive 10 !
