There is nothing wrong with swapping wingbacks from time to time, especially 'in game' if it causes the opposition problems. The biggest issues we had whilst doing this was having players who were obviously uncomfortable in an inverted role, Tsaroulla a key example.

Let's be right, everyone will now want both JJ and Tsaroulla to start games but if they both play as wing backs one of them will have to be inverted, JJ being the obvious choice.

True but as JJ himself has said he prefers to play on the right I don't think he'd be truly inverted.

Joao Alves is a good coach so I suspect he will be stepping up to help Stuart

He was the first team analyst. When Williams left, he stepped up to help JOB and then was promoted full time to coach when Maynard was appointed

Been reading rumours on twitter that both Notts' assistant manager and first team coach, Matt and Craig Saunders have been suspended by the club.

Obviously don't know anything official, but I haven't seen Matt Saunders in the dugout since Walsall on New years day.

Has anybody checked the MK Dons' news? That's where everybody else from Notts is going!

Maynard always seemed to be the quiet one on the touchline. The bros always coaching/ shouting

I ended up with a stream without commentary cos I couldn?t make Saturday?s game, and all you could hear the entire game was Maynard shouting instructions. Was taken aback at how loud he was tbf!

Probably unrelated but I always remember being taken aback when the first Maynard training session clips were shown at just how many different voices were shouting over each other. There was also footage of SM pulling one of the bros back after being too vocal towards the team or officials. I wonder if too many cooks have spoilt the broth here, and if so SM is right to pull rank.

That?s my bit of unfounded rumour mongering done for the day.

After Tom Weale and Ian Hutton left, someone at the club said that Jaoa Alves was the most important member of staff at the club and we ought to be worried if he left !
