    Good news! And the right move from spurs. They have recalled Dane Scarlett from Oxford but he has a realistic chance of getting into their first team squad. Georgie Abbott would not.

    George was always going to stay
    Plays every week, given responsibility and learning all the time
    It's been a perfect loan for both him and us
    Scarlett is unlikely to get in the Spurs team if he couldn't get a game at Oxford

    His goal on Saturday shows the trust the management have in him to deliver the goods. As long as he can stay fit, this is proving to be the model loan arrangement: we get a real talent who is totally committed and improves our first XI; Spurs get a better footballer at the end of the season.
