I can't believe we'd sell him without being ready to replace, even with a silly money offer. But equally you have to think we had targets for different contingencies months ago.

Whatever happens, it's been a pleasure having him at the club. I really hope he stays.
    I'd heard whispers too
We definitely don't want to sell as far as I know
From what I've heard AJ is very happy here
Players like AJ are as rare as hen's teeth - big, fast, brave and scores goals
I suspect we will hold out unless we get a ridiculous offer
The problem with Crowley and even Macca was that once they knew the personal terms on offer from the other bidding club(s) they both made it clear they wanted the moves

The thing with this rumour is that Plymouth seem to always be rumoured to be after Notts players, yet never stump anything up.
I can?t remember but was it Macca last January that they were rumoured to be interested?

Well the issue is this. He's 26 years old, so not a youngster, big money would be on offer for both club and player, it's a bird in the hand situation for both. No surprise at all that an offer may have been tabled. In fact I would have been surprised by the absence of an offer. I think the model is financially driven with promotion, if it happens, being an incidental bonus. Hope he stays, love watching him play.
