Motherwell land Ellery Balcombe deal
Not the Old Firm understands Motherwell have now struck a deal with Brentford to being Ellery Balcombe back to Scotland.

The 25-year-old spent the first part of the season on loan at St Mirren and impressed during his 26 appearances.

But the Buddies sent him back to the Premier League side after learning their previous loanee Zach Hemming was available again and brining him in from Middlesbrough again.

He started his career in 2015. He has played roughly 280 games and scored 85 goals to date so roughly just over 8 goals a season. Certainly not exceptional figures for a striker. Hopefully we can get him to rediscover the knack of putting the ball in the back of the net. Louis Moultt was virtually unknown to us before he joined us. So wish Luke all the best with the “WELL”
