I think the club have to stop and think what his value might be in 12 months time. If we are in league 1 and he?s still scoring then that 1 million we want now becomes 2 million easily.

He?s almost bound to have some kind of release clause in his contract. No idea what that figure would be, but for a ?150k signing I doubt it?s going to be much beyond ?1m.

He'd still have to want to talk to them. He might want to do a full season for us before he thinks about moving on. I doubt the offer he personally would get would change much between now and the summer, even if the fee Notts could command might.
