Arsenal are "actively looking" to sign a striker in the January transfer window who is able to "make an impact", says manager Mikel Arteta.

Surely they can afford ?1 or ?2m?

At the risk of getting a slagging am I the only one who's baffled AJs sudden rise in value?, he's a big quick unit who's scored a dozen or so playing for one of the most attacking sides in the 4th tier & suddenly he's worth ?millions, yes he could come good so if we sell we should get the clauses right but I must admit that if it was us paying ?1+ I would expect someone with a much better proven record. That said I still hope we keep him at least for the season. COYP

No slagging off from me. He?s good and playing well. I hope we keep him. But if he played for another L2 club and we were offering ?1m for him then I would question it.

If someone was willing to pay that to us it would seriously make me think of accepting
