    Aberdeen v St Mirren

Looks like it's up to me to start the match thread this week.

The Dons play host to St Mirren at the Cathedral of Football this Saturday, 25th January. The Buddies have lost each of their last four league games, but we are no better.

I fancy the home side to halt the recent league slump with a 2-1 win.

Hopefully we will have a new striker in place for this one. Lots of names being thrown about, with Theo Bair being the most frequent name I have read.

I don't think he would be a good fit for us and quite sure it is all made up bullsh*t.

4-1- just a feeling we're going to win this one well.

Won't surprise me if that prediction comes back and bites me on the arse come Saturday night.

Four league defeats on the bounce for ST Mirren has their league form on a par with ours.
This is going to be a close call.
My heart is saying 1-0 us (Clarkson)
But my gut feeling is 0-1 St Mirren

    In for this one.

Any win will do against the team with a group of supporters that are fast becoming my most disliked.

Jimmy has been yapping to the press.

He says McGrath is out for a couple of months, as is Polvara. He also says Pape is a weapon.

I heard rumour of an injury, but hadn't realised it was a fairly bad one.

The loon hasn't had much luck with injuries recently.

Another display organised before tomorrow's game.

Here's hoping it inspired the players to put in a performance and pick up the three points.

A performance would be good, but I'll settle for a sh*t 1-0 win.

Not sure that’s been confirmed? Think maybe Swaddon mixing him up with reporting of McGrath? Hope so, the guy has had some rotten luck.

Think there’ll be a fair few games off tomorrow, a chance for us to rocket up the league…

Keskinnen and Okkels start- surprised by that
Thought Duk was a shoe in to start and also Morris
Pape up front - wouldn?t class him as a no 9 but he has presence
