    Absolutely.

"Sustainability" is boring to the football fan mentality, it's all about "ambition" and "you've got to speculate to accumulate" and all the other cliches, but as we should know, if you don't look after the bottom line and pay the bills, you end up where Morecambe appear to be. Their fans are probably in for an exciting time, but not the kind of excitement that's enjoyable.

I've thoroughly enjoyed being "bored" with off-the-pitch matters for the past five years!

It's difficult for owners though as many of them have big egos and owning a football brings the worse out in some.

For goodness sake, why would anyone want to own a football club?

The stay away fans could help, by turning up for league games, bet the Chelsea game was some fans only game this season. Their highest home attendance is 4,150 v Port Vale next highest 3,616

Nice club, decent ground, great fish & chip shop, it's a weekend away when we play them up there, plus the debut of the "great" Sol Cambell for us, shame if it goes through, as said above, we are very fortunate at NCFC.

I have been absolutely delighted with the kind of "Boring" the brothers have brought to Notts! Their strategies aren't "exciting" or high risk, and that's excellent. Because they do actually work, unlike those of previous owners.

There are well established clubs around them in Blackpool and Preston plus Fleetwood. Not counting the loads of clubs in Lancashire so it must be difficult to attract new fans.

Debut and only appearance with us losing 1-0 if I recall?

You've got to feel sorry for the fans , once again victims of dubious ownerships. Potential new owners not yet been approved by EFL. What difference that makes, with previous appraisals and approvals of various owners proving to be poor examples !
Yes an enjoyable experience going to Morecambe with particularly friendly matchday stewards .
Unfortunately , like the vast majority of cities and towns over the last 60 years, Morecambe has degenerated and far from prosperous. Competition from nearby clubs is hardly a relevant factor.
Matchday prices and online ticketing requirements, are another factor, whereby " last minute " decisions to watch a game and pay cash at the gate opportunities are becoming more rare.
