Players can become heroes to many and it's hard to continually watch them leave.

Sustainability is not solely financial, the calibre of playing staff in order to 'sustain' our status on the next rung of the ladder is crucial as well so selling players who would be competent at a higher level is surely, counter intuitive? If we sold Jatta for a million and missed out on promotion, how would that balance out in the long run against what would be higher gates, probably more tv money and more sponsorship?
I see your point and it?s a valid one. You have to try and get the balance between financial stability and footballing sustainability which isn?t easy and am certain the owners are debating in detail at times like this.

Is there any evidence of young fans tiring of the revolving door of our best players arriving and departing?

I would say that the our crowds have grown hugely because of the owners more than any one incredible season. It?s their appointment of head coaches, recruitment of players and investment in the club that has seen crowds grow to unbelievable levels for league two.

Because of the owners the young fans have got to enjoy
    Wootton and Rodrigues
    Langstaff and Jones
    Jatta and Crowley

Not bad. Nobody is getting tired of watching those pairings. Why won?t that trend continue?
