Would it be too much to ask for a clean sheet as well....?

Sadly, yes Dubbs. Sounds like too many small pieces of complacency creeping in second half. Disappointing but can't grumble at 5-1!

Happy with that but a more confident result at 5-0....not a complaint, just an observation...

I know Pompey's manager, with more of an eye on their midweek game, made 5 changes or something for today's match and that Portsmouth were generally very poor but the scoreline and style of football is surely an indication of TM's influence already. Put another way, I think Albion will always be grateful to Carlos for what he brought to the club, but would anyone have thought such a result likely had he still been manager?

Obviously still very early days and it took the first twenty mins or so to get going but the scoreline didn't flatter us. We will, of course, face much harder competition than Pompey gave us today and there are still plenty of things to improve on but nice to at last see the brakes let off a bit and us playing more on the front foot. Certainty more entertaining to watch/listen too-although I also acknowledge that it comes with a higher risk of conceding against better teams.

Everything we?ve all been waiting for, football with the handbrake off, positive front foot entertaining football, players being able to show their skills, breath of fresh air

Great result today and full credit for the more attack minded game plan. However, it was a very poor Portsmouth side and we will face much stiffer opponents, including Plymouth away next week.

We should play Pompey more often - 8-1 in two games now.

Actually made better with all the other teams around losing points.
One game at a time and maybe even a surprise signing before the end of the month...
