Me too. Looks like he needed a change of scene. Although we NEED to secure a decent replacement for him in this window. Our squad would have been stronger yesterday with him as an option from the bench.

    Mike Williamson on Ceds:

“He gets goals, Ceds, and he understands it.

It's the biggest jump in maturity I've ever seen. And that's not saying he was very immature when we had him at Gateshead, but how much has come on in the time that he's been away. And now he's the one really drilling into the boys because he understands it.

“He knows where everyone should be. And I thought, yeah, he played really well today.”

Obviously with Carlisle visiting on Tuesday he can't name us, but think our coaching team (as well as Ceds himself) take a lot of credit for the bolded.

I wish Cedwyn all the best but I strongly feel we shouldn't have let him go, unless he absolutely insisting on a move over the past few months.

People seemed to forget after his injury what a good player and goalscorer he is - the one he got this season against Leicester U21s being a fine example. There's all this fuss about not letting Jatta leave, which I understand, and yet a comparative shrug about letting Scott leave, which I don't understand.

There's the usual lazy BS narrative about "not the same since his injury" etc., but in reality all he lacked was game time and being played in his proper position. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a regular goal-getter for Carlisle if he gets the minutes he needs, and I hope he does, but it would serve to illustrate that he should still have been regarded as a valuable asset here.

The guy was hardly a FL goal machine the way you speak its as if we have sold prime Van Basten.

He WANTED to go back up north hardly our fault is it.

Will he be allowed to play.? Wouldn't surprise me if there was a clause in the contract....?
