To think not that long ago we were in the EFL with

Villa
Fulham
West Ham
Bournemouth
Brentford
Palace

All of whom have kicked on and sit in that comfortable mid table zone (or sometimes a little higher).

We would probably need at least 8 players to stay up and possibly a new manager. Farke?s style seems to work in the second tier but he hasn?t been the greatest success in top leagues.
8 players ?
10 minimum !

We are not gonna be Bielsafied for sure any time soon busting a gut to score, for sure.
So we are back to the subject of needing 'exceptional-talent' to tip the balance of the many tight games we keep finding ourselves in.

Leeds will only be looking to snare those rare exceptional-talents in the summer with many only on radar currently, it appears.

Positives are maybe there is a talismatic Pablo type interested in joining us in PL or a finished article of such like of a stylistic Rutter as a mover & shaker into making things happen.

Re-reading Wilkos book leaves me thinking he got things into perspective with savvy signings running throughout the 'spine of the team' with players willing to run through a brick wall - exactly the missing ingredient which makes the difference, imo.
