I didn't think Hinchy played any worse than others last night, but maybe Matt Palmer would have been one to push the tempo higher and lead by example. Hinchy on the ball isn't a bad player, but for a player in a notionally defensive role his recovery speed and effort worries me. If we lose the ball you need a player in his position to be bombing back and trying to disrupt the counter attack, but in his case I couldn't tell whether he was running in treacle or just couldn't be arsed.
