No worries Swale. I appreciate everyone's views. I can generally see who is disgusted by what Trump says, but I've read the full text and taking into account with what went off before, I see his point. I'm certainly not 'disgusted'. Many of those 'disgusted' were also disgusted by Trump's comments on the LA fires and the Hurricanes in the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida. Which were later proved to be correct.

Sorry to copy and paste so much, but I believe that there on many on here that haven't seen the main part of what was said. He was asked, he answered.

Q: "Are you saying this crash was somehow caused as the result of diversity hiring? And what evidence have you seen to support these claims?"

TRUMP: "It just could have been. We have a high standard. We've had a much higher standard than anybody else. And there are things where you have to go by brainpower. You have to go by psychological quality, and psychological quality is a very important element of it. These are various, very powerful tests that we put to use. And they were terminated by Biden. And Biden went by a standard that seeks the exact opposite. So we don't know. But we do know that you had two planes at the same level. You had a helicopter and a plane. That shouldn't have happened. And, we'll see. We're going to look into that, and we're going to see. But certainly for an air traffic controller, we want the brightest, the smartest, the sharpest. We want somebody that's psychologically superior. And that's what we're going to have.?

He then got asked if he believed Diversity policies or the helicopter pilots had been at fault. He said that it was currently under investigation.

We all differ on opinions and that's fine. I personally have no qualm after reading different transcripts from outlets about he said. I just hope all those that are throwing stones apply the same scrutiny to all politicians in power when they say things.

The rhetoric of the current president of the United States is indefensible to any reasonable human-being.

The way he has gone about going after a fellow NATO member in his claims for Greenland should be a massive wake up call about what this administration is all about. A way of behaving that is not unbefitting of a mafia boss.

On the whole I think Trump is to be ignored because he is rarely follows through with his nonsense. It's difficult to stick with this because his outrageous rhetoric is made (on purpose) to fill the airwaves.

True, even though it was explained quite clearly. Whether the cause of this crash turns out to be down to air traffic control error, pilot error, mechanical failure, Russian drones or any other conspiracy theory isn't the issue. The issue is whether it's acceptable for a president to exploit a tragedy for political gain while bodies are still in the water. Thankfully, only Lullapie so far finds it acceptable.
