Certainly would not lose any sleep if that happens.

I get we can all have a pop at the team at the moment. No arguments on that front and mostly deserved.

What I don't get is the fascination with the likes of Burrows and others in our set up. I have no idea what goes outwith the football side of things, but from my viewpoint, the club seems to be run well enough and despite our shyte run are still sitting fourth in the league.

I'm sure if there are issues with Burrows I am doubtful other clubs would supposedly be chasing him.

    This.

We’re a long way down the road from the days Ian Taggart was selling tickets from the hatch at the main door on Pittodrie Street. Burrows certainly knows his stuff as far as UEFA, SPFL, and the SFA are concerned, and is already on the case to change the system to stop clubs coming the **** in instances like Connor Barron’s defection to The Filth.

Wow. Some going for an Aberdeen loon born in the 40s.
    What a life.

Before my time too, although I read a little bit about him in a recent Dons book, but can't remember which one.

Dundee was the club he made a name for himself. 106 goals in 138 games

He scored barrowloads in the Highland League for Huntly, but never quite made the step up. He did well for TMSTID and Arbroath.

I missed much of his short career as my weekends were spent labouring on building sites to fund a worrying LP records habit, but on the few occasions I did see him play, he was yet another target for the less than cerebral among our support.

The tributes being paid online by many of his playing contemporaries and social connections say that he was a very good striker and a great boy with whom to go for a pint.
