I realised many years ago that the only constant at a football club is us, the supporters. Owners, managers, coaches and players come and go but we will never go. I just don't get all this animosity and hatred to anyone who moves on because they got a better offer. A career in football is a relatively short one, and all I ask of those who have the privilege to represent Notts County is that they give 100% effort to the cause and try and leave a positive legacy. Anyone who thinks Macauley Langstaff didn't do exactly that must live on a different planet to me. He gave me some brilliant memories so I wish him all the best for the future.

Agree entirely. I just don't get it that he has only done what the vast majority of supporters would have done.

I wonder if Macca had offers after the NL season but chose to stay with us?

Me too. Langstaff was an absolute joy to watch in the famous Black and White (and whatever the away kit was at time).

Totally agree. Some on here act like spurned lovers whenever anyone moves on to bigger and more lucrative things.

Same here. There are many who follow the team and quite a few on here, that believe they know better than the owners. It's probably the same ones who berated previous owners too.

No one has bought the club, since Munto, would have thought, right I'm going to bugger this club up and lose all my money in the process.

The current owners have a plan and seem to be sticking with it, but are likewise prepared to tweak it when necessary. They are showing that they are prepared to learn and evolve. That's only good news for Notts.

ML was perfect for the club at the time, just like LW was. They moved on and we have to too.

However, I still feel that it would be great move for both Notts and ML to bring him back on loan, but he'd have to fit in with Notts' new system - I wouldn't feel the same way about Luke Williams coming back though.

Transfer window now closed. No interest in Langstaff anywhere. Looks like Jatta is staying. Travel Jatta and McGoldrick up front.
    Bring it on.
    U pies
