Great post. The left have no real dirt on Trump and have no idea what he is going to do - quite a few on the centre and right seem to know what he's doing though - so the left have to resort to making stories up with what they think Trump might do and then peddle them as fact.

If ever I want a laugh, I tune into The View - a widely diverse opinion/talk show on ABC which is panelled by women only (very diverse), but is on the intellectual level of those viewers that used to watch Jerry Springer

    or

MSNBC's Morning Joe (probably a wake up call for the last President). If you like hysteria or "news" stories as if they were written by Hans Christian Andersen - these are definitely go to.

Looks like after all his blustering and bravado and a call to arms of the 'Canadian people', Justin Trudeau, after a conversation with Trump this morning, is softening his 'stance' toward Trump and the US.

He's just announced that Canada will appoint a high-positioned individual to help prevent Fentanyl going across the border and also implement a border plan costing US$1.3 billion.

The last of the Klaus Schwab world leaders has backed down after only a day.

They don't like it up 'em.

"Trump to pause tariffs on Canada and Mexico after they agree to strengthen borders" runs the current live headline on BBC.

So after all his blustering and bravado and supposed mandate it's Trump who's backed down. Today anyway. Guy changes his mind every 12 minutes.

I remain confident he still doesn't fully understand what tariffs are or what the result of imposing them will be.

Ha ha, you know as much as the chair and the chair says Trump never backs down, without lifting his little finger, just a pen, he has the world of the extreme left and woke's wimpering and throwing their Karl Marx manuals at the wall (on the Mexican border), the trannies are taking their ladies frocks back to the charity shops by the barrowload, the globalist's are now headless chickens hanging in the Dewhurst windows, Trudeu, the wet rag is now drying out, Reeves, our very own thief, is now abandoning the DST in fear, 2TK is just spinning like a 2 bob on the dance floor, forever clueless. All this caused from a man that has backed down?!.

Why do you think he doesn't fully understand what tariffs are? Do you genuinely believe that a twice-elected president of the US and lifelong businessman knows less about tariffs and international trade than you?

Seriously you make the most deluded rants. You ask for proof from others and when they supply it, you say that you can?t be bothered to read it.
OK great please give me names / dates / acronyms or whatever to help me find the agreements made under Biden which led to the US having to pay large tariffs to export to Canada while Canada can export most of its goods to the US tariff free.

I did read your links when you posted them and I went back and double checked them yesterday to make sure I hadn't missed anything. I can't see anything in there about US Canada trade tariffs. They are articles about New Zealand Dairy farmers. But please tell me which paragraph / line I should be looking at to find proof of your claim.

So no movement on the issue that was bothering you the other day, namely that:

Has to be a huge win for Trudeau in that case. Sounds like he managed to pull Trump's pants down in the first negotiation to get that hugely imbalanced trade deal in favour of Canada, now he's done it again in preserving it. Genius.

Jampie tells lots of 'fibs;'. I've caught him out a few times and he's a bit of a 'Walter Mitty'. To suggest that it is Trump who has backed down goes against what most of the media - even the lefty media - is reporting. The Mexican President has agreed to station immediately 10,000 Mexican troops at the border. The Canadian Premier has agreed to spend US$1.3 billion on shoring up the US/Canada border and create an anti-Fentanyl team. Trump has given nothing back in return.

Only someone who is deluded could see that as a Trump backdown.

As I keep saying, there will be only one winner.
