    Bristol City v Swansea

Bristol City v Swansea Sunday 09 Feb 12:00
In the aftermath of one of the worst transfer windows ever we have to move one with just the one signing instead of the three or four that were badly needed..
Not the match one would have picked to try and lift us out of this awful run of defeats but this is where we are and we need some inspiration from the head-coach to reverse the slide. A priority is to stop shipping goals, do that and picking up points will follow.
The Robins will be without two first team players after midfielder Joe Williams 31’ and defender Ross McCrorie 86’ were sent off in their 1-1 draw at Oxford last Saturday.
The Swans will be without key defender Harry Darling who is serving a three match ban. He was harshly sent off for a clumsy tackle on ex-Swan loanee Rhian Brewster, who rolled over in agony exaggerating the foul to get Darling sent off, which didn’t go down well with Swans supporters who booed him off when he was substituted.
There are doubts about Joe Allen playing, no word from the club but assume he’s injured again after missing the last two games, just when we need him most. He has played a bit part this season, coming on as sub in just 13 games and it’s becoming more likely that he will retire at the end of the season.
Here’s hoping new signing, on loan midfielder Lewis O’Brien, can lift the players and give us fresh impetus.
