It appears once people start to defend Trump they struggle to back-down and end up blindly supporting any old ignorant crap that comes out of the mans burger-hole just because they think they are 'WINNING'. It's both dangerous and idiotic but on we go.

Trump only understand money. Tarriffs =US income. Greenland = US exploit rare earth minerals. Ukraine = Give US rare earths or no support. Panama = US Supply costs. Immigration = US social costs. Gaza on the Med = US control (Money? no sure about that one).
No sure if it's all bluff and counterbluff but a stateman? never in a million years. Mind you he wasn't elected to be a statesman was he, we have enough of that breed as it is.

For any fool tempted to equivocate, imagine if your homeland, where generations of your family before you had lived, was going to be taken over by a faraway foreign power, allied to your avowed enemies, with you kicked out to a place of their choosing. Nottinghamshire's about 6 times bigger than Gaza, but let's imagine the suggestion was to empty out Nottinghamshire and 'own it'

Blokes a borderline psychopath, but it?s fascinating to watch, some things he?s done I agree with others not. Tariffs a sledgehammer to crack a nut will work on some but not others, as others have said he?ll look at how the markets react, wants to bring back manufacturing but it?ll take years to build the capability.

How poor must the other side have been for him to get back in? Some folks take exception to being called bigots and friends of the Austrian painter and being told what to do and say just because they have some differing political opinions.

I was just saying that is what is in it for Trump, not how practical it would be to do. It would cause chaos, but what just saying it does is make a 2 state solution less likely, and so extent the conflict on and on.
