I would suggest that Doc has had a decent budget this season seeing as we paid fees for Murray, Billy, Donnelly, and the new left back.
We received ?1 million for Luke McCowan plus a rumoured ?400k for Seb Lockhead from Wolves plus an undisclosed transfer fee from Nottingham Forest for Ally Graham and an undisclosed transfer fee from Crawley Town for Max Anderson which could have been a development fee.

I'm not going to criticize Docherty too much just yet though as I think he's been put in an impossible position by John Nelms. These tie ins with other clubs just don't seem to be benefitting us right now and maybe if Docherty had free reign to sign players without the need to keep those other clubs happy it would be different?

The tie ins with these other clubs is John Nelms' doing and that makes him culpable for tying Docherty's hands. Docherty preps the players, decides the formation and (right now) isn't getting the best out of a squad that hasn't really done too badly prior to the last two games.
In my opinion it is all very well having these tie ins with these other clubs if we are getting decent players in return and not just young players who are being ‘toughened up’ playing for Dundee FC before they return to their parent club to go on to bigger and better clubs.

You asked the question and I gave you the answer.
People should be asking why John Nelms gave a presentation to Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce members last month witn Nelms giving the impression that Dundee Football Club are building the new stadium at Campy Nou.
Details about Nelms’s presentation on the Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce website contained the Dundee FC logo with no mention about Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited owning the site and building the new stadium at Campy Nou.

Somebody else asked the question not me.

The question asked specified 'any other MD of a football club in Scotland' but you responded by giving an example of an English club's MD.

I repeat - you don't do yourself any favours do you?

Are you suggesting that something dishonest is going on?

John Nelms gave the impression to the people present at his Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce presentation that Dundee Football Club are building the new stadium at Campy Nou which is wrong.
It is Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited who have two common directors with Dundee Football Club who are proposing to build the new stadium at Campy Nou.
Dundee Football Club will be tenants of this new stadium if it is ever built.
