    Newport

Well, how do we think this one will go?
    Will CBR score?
Hopefully Lee Bell will have learnt his lesson and we will see Max Conway playing on the left again. I don't think Connor O'Riordan should be an automatic choice, and it shouldn't be forcing Ryan Cooney onto the bench. I would like to see Sanders in defensive midfield, Lowry attacking midfield. Presumably Holicek will play on the right. Then our two forwards will depend on who is fit. (I'd like to see Bogle & Long.)
If we don't win this one.....then I think the supercomputer will be right, and we have to lower our expectations.

Depends who's fit. Mind you, didn't do too badly when they were all injured before.
I do think Lowery will make a difference getting the ball forward. Just need someone to be on the end of it.
No Long or Bogle = 1-1
    With 2-1.

Hi, should be a win, but a) can we score - b) can we not give up silly goals!

I think 2-1, with us scoring in the 88th & 95th minute after being down 1-0 after 5 x mins! Squeaky bum time again!

I think that Bell gave us a big clue regarding forward availability in his interview when he said that Roberts could be recalled in a couple of weeks. Lowery has been on the treatment table this week I have been told, not sure of the reason. It's not the best time to have a follow up game away at Wimbledon on Tuesday either. A massive week coming up.

No Demetriou, Bogle, Long, Hemmings, only 6 on the bench ... Oh dear. Hope we have some v Wombles at least.

...and Lowery on the bench. Oh dear! Ready to concede our first double of the season?
Time for our midfielders to step up!

Well, that was bizarre! 3 goals from 3 attacks.
Tha Alex played better than they have for a while and still contrived to give away a couple of goals.
If none of the other strikers are fit, Thibaut should start the next game, as should Lowery.
Not much to say other than that. A bad day at the office or....is this how it's going to be from now on?

That's about it, never a 3-0 game except on the scoreline. As you say, we had a much better shape than the last few games, without trying to shoe horn in 3 CHs, and the midfield made some plays again. Why take Sanders off to get Lowery on though, he's always the one for some reason.

3 goals from 3 defensive lapses. If you didn't know the result and watched the game you would assume that we won it. We played a lot better than we have been doing but we cannot afford to be gifting goals. Keepers worst match since Chesterfield. Much will be made of the fact that no striker came in during the "window" but the fact of the matter is, there is no point in signing a striker if they are not good enough. Sambou was a striker but I don't imagine any of our supporters would want someone of his standard

This game was not about strikers or lack of we created 3 gilt edge chances to score and a couple of half chances, goals change games so we played well and created good goal scoring opportunities. If just 1 of those chances had gone in and they should have, its 2-1 and game on. 3 defensive lapses and not taking gilt edge chances is the story of this game in between we played some good football I agree with Bell this was not about injuries we had good players out there who performed well but couldn't score, which unfortunately is the important bit, another striker of unknown ability was the last thing we needed. Throw in Tibaut he is a striker he is fit and has proved he has ability so put him and Lowery in the starting line-up on Tuesday and see what happens, everythi ng to play for.
