What do we think?

At 21, can he be described as 'raw'? Well, anyway, I think 'raw' but with a lot of potential is how I see him and, in Eddie, he has the right coach to develop that potemtial.

I've mentioned before how highly the coaches at the club rate him and how they're very excited for his development. I think we saw glimpses of why today. For a start, he never stopped-a quality that is non-negotiable with Eddie (and us) but that first touch, turn and run in the first half (was it the one that led to the goal?) was absolute quality. What was almost as good was his decision-making for the goal. Having created the opportunity himself with his shot, he could have gfelt entitled to have another go (as many forwards would) but he made a much better decision to pass and that created the goal.

Plus, he was kicked all over the park today but his head never went down and stood up for himself (the booking was an absolute nonsense by a joke of a ref-worst I've seen in a long time).

Yes, he tripped over his own feet a bit with the ball and was a bit wayward with some shooting and passing but I think there's enough there for him to become a very good player.

Earliest of days, obviously, but....

Thoughts?
