    Sven Goran Eriksson Estate Auction

    This is rather sad to see. The items being auctioned off to help settle the debts of his estate. All those football memories including awards etc. (No Notts items as far as I can see)

    I think when you see his debts how much of football man he was to walk away from Notts with nothing being owed millions. He was rightfully owed millions but walked away so we could carry on, great man

    If he asked for the millions he was owed where would it have come from? We were more than broke. Asking for millions that were not there would have made us unsellable. Trew had enough problems meeting hidden debts as it was.

    I still can't work out how a man who probably earned tens of millions of pounds over his career ended up in debt. It would make sense if he was a reckless addict, but he seemed so measured and tuned in.

    We had assets in the stadium, we would no longer be a club but he'd have got his money, hence my initial post

    I thought the club did not own the stadium, or at least the lease on the land. It's protected by the Haydn Green Estate.
